Job Description

Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS) is seeking to appoint a talented and inspiring Head of Gymnastics to lead our gymnastics programme for a fixed period of maternity cover.

We are looking for a coach who is passionate about gymnastics, committed to bringing out the very best in every pupil, and able to maintain the exceptional standards that make gymnastics such a successful and valued part of school life at SCHS.

The successful candidate will hold at least a Level 2 gymnastics coaching qualification, with proven experience in supporting advanced tumbles and vaults. They will demonstrate the flexibility to adapt their coaching to suit pupils of all ages and abilities, inspiring both beginners and elite competitors alike. Experience of coaching gymnastics in a school or educational setting and of organising competitions or team events, would be highly desirable.

This part-time role involves approximately 8 hours of coaching per week plus 2 hours of administrative duties, focused on preparing and training our teams across different age groups.
