Job Title: SEN HLTA / Functional Skills Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per dayLocation: Cannock Hours: Full-time, long-term
Smart Education is currently recruiting for an SEN HLTA / Functional Skills in the Cannock area.

Job Requirements:• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience• Experience delivering or supporting Functional Skills in English and Maths• Strong understanding of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, and MLD needs• Excellent communication and teamwork skills• DBS registered on the Update Service • Able to provide references promptly• Must be able to complete compliance within a few days
Role Responsibilities:• Deliver engaging Functional Skills sessions tailored to individual learner needs• Support teachers in planning and adapting classroom activities• Work closely with the SENCO and wider team to deliver targeted interventions• Encourage independence, confidence, and progress in every learner• Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
