Key Responsibilities: Achieve and maintain production output standards. Maintain and service production machinery. Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Manage machine spare parts inventory. Provide technical expertise and advice on equipment issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot machine breakdowns. Monitor and analyze machine performance data. Assist with training activities for other team members. Pre-plan maintenance activities to optimize efficiency. Analyze breakdown frequencies to identify root causes and implement solutions. Participate in training and risk assessment programs. Experience Required: We're looking for someone with a background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing. This could be through a formal apprenticeship, HND, or university degree. The ideal candidate will have Experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of high-speed automated assembly processes. Proven skills in problem-solving and fault-finding on manufacturing machines. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
