JRS Associates have partnered up with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Bench Hand/Assembler for their weekday day shift team. This is a great opportunity to join a company offering long-term stability and a supportive working environment.

The Succesful Bench Hand / Assembler - Package:

• £35,854.21 per annum

• Shift - 46.40 Hours Weekday Day Shift 06.00 - 18.00 Monday - Thursday

• 4-day week long weekends every week!

The Succesful Bench Hand / Assembler Role Accountabilities:

• Skilled use of de-burring techniques including blending and polishing

• Proficient operation of air tools and fly presses, including clocking fixtures, vices, and angle plates

• Use of hand assembly techniques to complete precision work

• Inspecting finished work using Verniers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, and Gauges

• Performing Vibro Etch, Stamping, Inkjet Part Mark, and Dot Peening to apply component identification markings

• Working to standard operating procedures and production timelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Conscientious and methodical approach to work

• Confident using hand tools and manual equipment

• Experienced working to production schedules and company documentation

• Detail-oriented, accurate, and quality-driven

• Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
