We re partnering with a leading national organisation who are looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to join the team. With an exciting period of change and growth underway, this business is seeking a confident and experienced HR Business Partner to join their collaborative HR team covering Wales.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the HR Director, this role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the people strategy across several key sites, including Newport and Cardiff, embedding cultural change, and ensuring HR is seen as a trusted and visible partner across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, operational environment and is passionate about driving engagement, trust, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on a variety of employee relations matters, including complex casework.
  • Partner with senior and middle management to influence and implement people strategy.
  • Support organisational change, restructuring, and workforce planning aligned with budgets.
  • Build strong and credible relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive cultural and behavioural change, embedding best practice HR across sites.
  • Coach and support the HR Advisor, ensuring consistency and professional excellence.
  • Act as a visible and approachable presence within the business, providing sound, pragmatic HR advice.

About You

You ll be an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner with a background in complex, multi-site environments. You ll have strong stakeholder management skills, resilience, and the confidence to influence senior leaders.

We re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in managing ER and change projects end-to-end.
  • Skilled at navigating complex stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery.
  • Confident, credible, and collaborative a true face of HR within the business.
  • Willing to travel as needed across Wales (mainly Newport & Cardiff).

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid model: typically 2 3 days per week on site, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Main sites: Newport & Cardiff.
  • Additional travel: Plymouth, Tynemouth, Swansea (monthly or adhoc).
