Your new company A busy and steadily growing Kent-based main contractor seek an experienced contracts manager on a permanent basis. Working across Kent and greater London they work predominantly in the public sector, focussing on healthcare, education & public buildings on schemes up to £5 million. Working from newly refurbished offices in the mid-Kent area they work with a strong list of retained clients and are in an extremely healthy position with a full order book for the next 12 months. Due to a recent internal move they now seek an experienced contracts manager to join the stable team working closely with the directors and other contracts managers. Your new role As Contracts manager you will be responsible for 3-4 projects reporting to the company directors. You will have full oversight of all aspects of construction, leading commercial, procurement and delivery, managing the site management team, being supported by commercial and technical. You will be responsible for programming, health & safety, client liaison, quality control and the general day-to-day running of the schemes. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced contracts manager with a background of working for main contractors, ideally in the healthcare, education or commercial refurb sectors. You will have managed multiple sites previously and be comfortable writing programmes, overseeing health & safety and leading client relations. This is a permanent role and as such you will be looking for a long-term career move and be comfortable working in the Kent area.
