Join a global manufacturing leader at their new, state-of-the-art production facility in Gartcosh a site designed around sustainability, innovation, and advanced automation. This site also houses a specialised R&D hub, making it one of the most technically advanced facilities of its kind.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and efficiency of complex production equipment in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
In this role, you ll:
- Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose faults quickly and implement lasting corrective actions.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement activities.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and modification of production machinery.
- Work closely with colleagues across shifts to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards.
About You
- Time-served engineer with a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Strong experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis, particularly in electrical systems.
- Confident across both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Competent using Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and IT tools.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Able to interpret technical documentation (electrical & mechanical).
- Experience with control systems, sensors, or automated machinery is highly advantageous.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification desirable.
- Strong safety mindset, proactive attitude, and a solutions-driven approach.
