What you will be doing: During your Airbus apprenticeship, you will build an understanding of the end to end supply chain through the Procurement process, from sourcing activities through to contract and supplier management. The apprenticeship programme will see you undertaking a variety of rotational placements within teams in and around Procurement, during which you may also have the opportunity to work within Airbus teams internationally. You will gain hands-on experience with placements in Commercial (Flyable) Procurement, General Procurement and Supply Chain Operations, amongst others. Our 4 year and 3 months Procurement and Supply Chain Management Degree apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to gain valuable experience within this dynamic and challenging area. You will gain a BSc Supply Chain Management with Procurement (Professional Practice) delivered by Aston University, studying via a combination of block release at the university and dedicated time allocated to studying as well as on-the-job work experience, at our world leading engineering and manufacturing site in Filton, Bristol. We take your development seriously and throughout your programme there will be opportunities for further training and development activities. Your role will be varied, developing your skills in all elements of supplier management, negotiation and contract management all whilst working with a diverse range of stakeholders from across the business, as well as Airbus suppliers. Your work based projects will underpin your learning and ensure you develop yourself through practical application of university study.
