Electronic Assembly Technician required by leading manufacturing company, based in Gloucester The successful Electronic Assembly Technician will be responsible for working from technical drawings to assemble and test electronic and electromechanical products.

Main Duties - Electronic Assembly Technician

• Working closely with the engineering team to build prototype products.
• Working from technical drawings and instructions.
• Preparation of kit prior to assembly.
• Assembly of cables and harnesses.
• PCB Assembly and soldering to IPC standards.
• Using a variety of electronic test equipment.
• Inspection of products and reworking when required.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following- Electronic Assembly Technician

• Previous experience of electromechanical assembly and test.
• IPC qualified or equivalent or equivalent experience.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• The ability to work own initiative.
• Strong communication skills
