About us
We are a family owned Plant haulage and Rental business based in South Leicestershire.
We are seeking a fully qualified HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) driver (preferably with plant or industry experience) to work, Monday to Friday on a dayshift with our, friendly team. The core working hours are between 7.30am and 5:30pm, with average weekly working hours of around 50 hours. Previous experience of working in the Plant machinery sector is required.
Unfortunately due to the nature of our work, we will only accept applications from drivers with driving experience, rather than newly or recently qualified drivers.
The role will entail a balance of HGV driving, the loading and unloading of company plant equipment as well as hauling customers own equipment. The successful applicants will possess a valid HGV licence, Drivers CPC and digi-tacho card.
Duties Required:
Loading and unloading of Plant equipment on /off the HGV.
Securely chaining and securing the equipment.
Ensuring to comply to Health and Safety procedures at all times.
Delivering and collecting equipment to customer sites.
Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures.
Compliance with Drivers Hours regulations and duties for professional drivers.
The ideal Candidate will:
Have experience gained within the plant industry.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.
Understand the importance of excellent customer service.
