12 Month Contract Inside IR35 £42.08 per hour umbrella Hybrid Working 1 2 days per week on site Job Role: As a Stage 1 Outfit Engineer, you will undertake a defined range of Wholeship - Integration activities including Stage 1 Outfit systems and compartment designs. Supplying advice and support to internal and external customers ensuring defined objectives are achieved, whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements. Stage 1 Outfit includes the preparation of technical specification documents, drawings and compartment arrangements, including modifying aspects of the reference design equipment to suit the HCF Customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and update technical equipment specifications under guidance and carry out engineering design activities in line with all quality and technical standards. Co-ordinate with Suppliers to ensure that the equipment designs are compliant against the specification. Liaise with our Customer, internal & external Stakeholders and Suppliers in assigned work areas to discuss engineering matters. Co-ordinate with systems engineers and detail designers on the integration of Outfit systems. Managing issues and modifications through the change process and implementing the solution. Modifying design solutions to meet the HCF Customer requirements, reviewing the proposed items against the reference design and managing them through the process. Support Hazard and Safety Reviews. Support Design Reviews and Zonal Reviews. Carry out analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of material, technical & operational options. With the preparation of reports with suggested recommendations to support the proposed design solution. Contribute to identification and closure of issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages and manage the resulting change.
