The Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum. You'll take on additional responsibilities such as leading small group sessions, covering classes, and providing targeted intervention for pupils who need extra support.

You'll be an active part of a collaborative school team, ensuring every child feels valued, encouraged, and supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead whole-class, small group, and one-to-one learning sessions.
• Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
• Deliver engaging activities that meet pupils' learning goals.
• Provide additional support for children with SEND or learning barriers.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting back to teaching staff.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.

About You:

• Hold HLTA status or an equivalent qualification/experience.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or classroom support professional.
• Confident in delivering planned lessons and supporting pupils across KS1, KS2, or KS3/4.
• Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for education and helping students reach their full potential.
