Proactive approach to Health and Safety Ensure compliance with current gas safety regulations and industry standards Communicate with clients and colleagues providing technical support required Other general duties Requirements: Previous work experience in a similar role and carrying out reactive tasks within hospitality and retail industries Previous experience in covering various areas such as ducted vents systems, flue fans and canopy(fireplace), Gas fires, Gas leaks, Gas lights, Heating radiators etc. Ability to work at height when required Full UK Driving Licence - Essential Strong knowledge of current gas regulations and health & safety standards Good communication and customer service skills The main function for this role is to cover gas callouts, however, due to locations of work/urgency etc, our client is seeking a gas engineer that is happy to also cover some general plumbing tasks to assist with workload. Working hours 40hrs per week, out off hours availability required based on agreed duty engineer rota with a minimum requirement to be on call once per calendar month.
