Salary: up to £35,000 + health care, Bonus, pension and more

Location: Hereford

Hours: Rotating - 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm 10pm-6am (38.75 hrs per week)

Are you a hands-on Quality Inspector looking to take the next step towards an engineering career?

Here is an exciting role where you will be part of a well-established team with some great staff retention. You will have one-to-ones with the Director to help mentor and guide you in your career.

My client is a leading contract manufacturer in the area with a role that could change day to day, offering a lot of variety.

With this role, they would get you trained up to speed with their process and then give you a chance to become an engineer to improve on their already exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and approve components
• Inspections (visual, dimensional, and mating part checks)
• Monitor production scrap and escalate issues quickly
• Update Quality Control Plans

Ideal Background:

• Quality inspection
• Proficient in the use of verniers, callipers, and gauges
• Able to read engineering drawings
