Senior Accountant

Sewell Wallis is recruiting for multiple roles based in Practice!

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant with qualifications in ACA/ACCA and looking to grow in a large organisation with huge progression opportunities?

What will you be doing?

• The main responsibility for the Senior Accountant will be to assist with the accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
• Working within a team of accountants to cover all necessary workload.
• General bookkeeping duties.
• Responsible for monthly VAT returns.
• Preparation of year end accounts.
• Using Microsoft Excel and other accounts systems, eg, Sage.

What skills do you need?

• At least two years within a Practice environment.
• Previous experience dealing with Ltd. Companies within a practice.
• Experience with VAT and knowledge of month and year end accounts.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
• Preferably, people management exposure
