At Options Autism, we're looking for a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join our team at Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. This is a chance to play a vital role in supporting pupils with autism and social, emotional, or behavioural needs - helping them to build confidence, develop coping skills, and re-engage with learning in a safe, nurturing environment.
About the role
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you'll be a constant source of encouragement and stability for our students. Every day, you'll help young people navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and discover their strengths.
You'll work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and senior leaders to promote wellbeing and positive engagement across the school - ensuring every pupil feels valued, supported, and ready to learn.

Our New Options Autism School - Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. The school will have capacity for 66 pupils and is due to open March 2026 and will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults. You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
