Sales & Account Manager - Agricultural Sector

Exeter (Remote - must be commutable to Exeter) 32,000 - 38,000 per annum 35-hour week, Monday to Friday Company Car Provided Permanent, Full-Time



Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Field Sales & Account Manager to join a respected agricultural services organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and personable sales professional with experience in field sales and account management. You will engage directly with customers and prospects across Devon, helping to grow the business and strengthen relationships.

This role is fully remote but requires applicants to be commutable to Exeter for occasional meetings and field visits.



Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Members.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Devon.

  • Conduct farm visits and promote agricultural insurance and safety services.

  • Provide guidance and advice on health and safety practices.

  • Manage your own diary, working independently to achieve targets.

  • Represent the company at local events and agricultural shows.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.



Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in sales, field sales, or business development.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule.

  • Strong account management, negotiation, and rapport-building skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in telesales, lead generation, or agricultural sector beneficial.

  • Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • Full UK driving licence required.
