On offer is a pivotal and varied role where you'll take ownership of the toolroom, oversee multiple projects, and lead a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality mould tooling. You'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, coordinate with design and manufacturing teams, and ensure that every tool meets the highest standards.

This role would suit a driven and technically minded manager who takes pride in maintaining an organised, efficient, and high-performing toolroom environment.

The Role:

• Liaise directly with customers to understand and communicate project needs.
• Review tool and part designs for manufacturability, efficiency, and quality.
• Lead DFM, tool design, and mould flow reviews to ensure project feasibility.
• Assign daily workloads and provide technical support to shopfloor staff.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues across CNC, EDM, and fitting operations.
• Oversee project timelines, provide regular progress updates, and maintain customer communication.

The Person:

• Strong technical background in plastics, tooling, or injection moulding.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
