Sales Manager - Warehousing Automation Solutions (UK)

An industry-leading automation and intralogistics provider is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth within the UK warehousing and logistics sector. This is a high-impact commercial role focused on winning large-scale automation projects and expanding market presence across key warehousing clients and integrators.
You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and developing strategies, to managing complex bids and closing multimillion-pound deals. Working alongside engineering and project delivery teams, you'll align innovative automation solutions with customer needs and long-term business goals.
We're looking for someone who has sold automation solutions into warehouses, managing projects ranging from 10M to 100M+.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in warehouse automation and material handling
Lead complex sales cycles from concept to contract close
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Develop tailored proposals, bids, and commercial strategies
Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful solution alignment
Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
Support forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic reporting
Represent the business at key industry events and trade shows
What We're Looking For
Proven B2B sales experience in warehousing, logistics, automation, or capital equipment
Strong track record selling automation solutions into warehouse environments
Demonstrated success in closing complex 7- and 8-figure projects (typically 10M- 100M+)
Skilled in long-cycle, consultative sales and relationship management
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Commercially strategic, with the ability to influence at senior level
Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad
