Position: Chef (Large Distribution Facility)
Location: Magor, NP26 Postcode
Salary: £ (£13.50 per hour)
Hours: 35 Hours per week Full time and permanent position
Shift Patterns: 7.00am - 2.30pm Monday - Friday
Please note, occasional weekend work may be required to suit business needs.
Our client are a leading multi-service provider in the Facilities Management sector and they are seeking a chef to cater for a team of up to 400 on a busy warehousing site. Due to continued growth, the client are seeking a Chef to work in the Staff Restaurant of a large retail distribution depot in Crick.
The staff restaurant caters for around 400-500 staff, so our client is looking for someone who has experience of high volume catering in a staff restaurant or similar environment.
Key Responsibilities Include: -
- Food preparation in-line with company recipes
- Experience cooking high volume, ideally catering for 400+ people.
- Ordering of supplies, storage & stock control
- Strong health and safety knowledge.
- Working as part of a catering team
- Review special dietary needs, as required
- Develop & maintain positive customer & client relationships
- Manage & control food budgets
Candidates who have experience in a retail staff restaurant or similar environment as a Chef would be ideal for this role, with experience with high volume cooking.
An immediate start is available for this position.
Ideally candidates will drive and have their own transport.
