In this role, you'll take ownership of 2D and 3D CAD drawings, supporting electrical and mechanical designs from concept to completion. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure all designs meet EU directives and BS standards, including BS7671 and BS8888, while helping to define CAD processes and producing STEP and Visio drawings. You'll also support compliance for EMC and LVD requirements, all while working on varied, impactful projects that offer opportunities for continuous learning and development. Based in Redhill, the role follows a 9:00-17:00 Monday-Friday schedule.

The role:

• Develop 2D and 3D electrical and mechanical CAD drawings from concept through to completion.

• Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure designs comply with EU directives and BS standards.

• Support EMC and LVD compliance through accurate documentation and thorough design checks.

• Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office.

The Person:

• Experienced in electrical and mechanical design

• Eligible for, or holding, SC Security Clearance

• Contribute ideas and solutions within project teams

• Commutable to Redhill

• Has lived and worked in the UK for 5 years or more
