Permanent Employed OR Self-employed - full-time - Monday to Friday

£ per hour OR £200 day rate

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a dynamic team at a successful, progressive & professional company this can either be on a permanent employed basis or self-employed.

Working on residential properties in and around the Edinburgh area you would be part of a team carrying out insurance repairs/reinstatement works. Experience in this field would be ideal but is not necessary.

If you have an NVQ / City & Guilds (or similar) or have completed an Apprenticeship this is ideal but not essential - time served will also be considered.

UK driving licence is required and you must have your own tools.

For a permanent role you will receive a company van, fuel card & phone

For a self-employed role you will need your own van.

What you will need:

• Decorative paper hanging, patch repair plaster (preparation), painting & decoration.
• Experience being able to work from a schedule of rates.
• Ability to carry out works to a very high standard and within timescales.
• Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
• To work safely and adhere to health and safety at work.
• To provide exceptional service to client/homeowners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
