What you'll be doing as our Assistant Manager:
- As the Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading the retail team and ensuring excellent customer experience and smooth store operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a retail ambassador and promoting products tailored to customer needs
- Using a variety of selling techniques to convert customer interactions into sales
- Maintaining high retail standards and delivering excellent customer service on the shop floor
- Supporting the team to meet targets and helping to drive store KPIs
- Coaching and motivating the retail team on customer service, selling techniques, and daily tasks
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Supporting analysis of store performance reports and helping implement ideas to improve KPIs
- Helping maintain the store's visual merchandising standards and brand aesthetic
Desired Skills:
- Proven retail experience, ideally with supervisory or assistant management experience
- Experience in people management and the ability to motivate a team
- Competent in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
- Highly organised and able to manage a busy retail environment
- Solution-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable supporting store operations
