Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hard working Warehouse Operative. Location: Paddock Wood, Kent Salary: up to £26,000 pa depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 4pm (37.5 hours per week) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, paid monthly Benefits include: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Some holiday to be kept for the Xmas shutdown Monday Friday, no weekend work Ongoing training and development Are you a reliable Warehouse Operative , with forklift driving experience. Warehouse Operative Duties will include: Being responsible for ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and safely helping to keep the warehouse operations running smoothly every day. Warehouse Operative main responsibilities Unload, check and receive goods into the warehouse Pick and pack customer and production orders to a high standard Operate forklifts (Counterbalance and Aisle Master) safely and efficiently Carry out daily stock checks and support inventory audits Maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners and PCs Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with safety and hygiene standards Work as part of a close-knit logistics team to meet customer deadlines What We re Looking For Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative , Forklift Driver , or Picker Packer Forklift experience (Counterbalance or Aisle Master preferred) Good IT and stock control skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure Team player with great communication and a can-do attitude
