Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Sous Chef to join an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant, based in a 4 hotel in Chichester.
£35,000
Full time - 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- To support the Head Chef with cost management, including margin control, food revenue, payroll cost control and Capex management
- To support with the development of food concepts - writing, costing and implementing menus
- To lead by example by offering excellent levels of service and professionalism and supporting the team to develop their skill
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure value for money and minimal wastage
What you'll need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery & Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
- Proven relevant experience of working in similar standard Food and Beverage operations
- Previous experience of managing a team is desired
- Enthusiasm for what you do
- Ability to build long-lasting collaborative relationships
- A team player with a sense of fun and focus on high quality service
- Genuine passion for creating an exceptional dining experience
