Multi-Skilled Flagger Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 Location: Various sites across Bury Job Type: Temporary (with potential for extension) Hours: 37 hours per week Join our Housing Repairs team as a Multi-Skilled Flagger, where you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of flagging, drainage, and groundwork repairs across Bury Council properties. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in multiple areas and can ensure the highest standards of maintenance and safety. Day-to-day of the role: Undertake flagging, drainage, fencing, and groundwork repairs. Perform excavation works, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in line with safety standards. Utilise IT systems (e.g., PDAs) to record and update job information in real time. Diagnose and assess repair needs, providing accurate information for planning. Maintain stock levels and record material usage accurately. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and safe working practices. Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders. Participate in the Out of Hours Emergency Repairs rota if required. Required Skills & Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Flagging and Groundworks or equivalent. Proven experience in multi-skilled repairs and the building industry. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Full valid UK driving licence. Knowledge of drainage systems and groundwork practices. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate. Tool Allowance provided.
