General Store Manager Big Ticket Sales £30,000 - £40,000 OTE

We are recruiting for a great leader who can be a true General Store Manager - someone who can manage all aspects of the store from sales to service to cutomer deliveries. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be able to own all elements of this great retail store - somewhere you can stand outside and be truly proud of what you manage.

This is a great role for a General Store Manager who has the ability to work with a great product range in a strong assisted sales environment, but, be able to motivate your sales team and then work closely with warehouse and delivery teams.

As a General Store Manager, you'll have full responsibility for your team and the performance of the store. You'll be expected to inspire, motivate and develop your colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve strong sales results. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys taking ownership of their business.

Experience of assisted sales within a furniture, homeware, furnishings or kitchen/bedroom bathroom business would be an advantage due to the price point involved.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading from the front by delivering a first-class customer journey.
• Driving store sales and ensuring commercial targets are achieved.
• Recruiting, coaching and developing a motivated and high-performing team.
• Taking ownership of stock management and product presentation.
• Using business data to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Building lasting relationships with customers, including high-value clients.
• Recognising and rewarding great performance while managing underperformance.
• Working closely with your Area Manager on new initiatives and retail projects.
