Lettings Administrator

Location : Kettering

Full time - Monday - Friday 0900 - 14:30 and 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Lettings Administrator to support our the fast paced lettings team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the lettings process from initial enquiry to move-in and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the lettings team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

  • Prepare and issue tenancy documentation including tenancy agreements, renewals, and addendums.

  • Manage applicant references, right-to-rent checks, and compliance paperwork.

  • Coordinate property viewings, move-ins, and move-outs with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

  • Maintain and update property records and databases (CRM systems).

  • Liaise with landlords and tenants to provide updates and resolve queries promptly.

  • Process tenancy deposits and ensure compliance with deposit protection legislation.

  • Support marketing efforts by uploading property listings, photos, and descriptions to online portals.

  • Assist in preparing monthly reports and lettings performance data.

  • Ensure all lettings activities comply with current legislation, company policies, and industry standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a lettings, property, or administrative role (preferred).

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident IT skills

  • Knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance (desirable but not essential).

  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
