Product Testing Technician£40,000 - £45,000 Swanley, Kent Permanent An established product-based manufacturer is looking for a Product Testing & Applications Technician to join their growing engineering team. This innovative organisation designs and manufactures advanced safety and technology products for use across a wide range of vehicles and machinery. Their work combines precision engineering, cutting-edge technology, and a commitment to improving safety and performance.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical testing, evaluation, verification, and validation of products and systems
• Provide vehicle-related technical expertise to guide product development and resolve engineering challenges
• Support and improve installation and application processes, reducing time and enhancing user experience
• Carry out benchmarking, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of new and existing products
• Lead the installation and setup of trial systems on vehicles, both in-house and for customers
• Contribute to documentation, prototype builds, and technical reporting
• Offer technical support and training to internal teams and customers

Essential skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems (HGV or commercial vehicle experience preferred)
• Confident in installation, diagnosis, and modification of electrical components and systems
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 and standard technical documentation tools
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams
• Flexibility to travel within the UK and support vehicle trials when needed

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
• Bonus: Discretionary annual performance bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
