Activities Lead Activities - Westerton Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Contracted hours: Our modern care home provides the highest quality of Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 106-residents. Are you someone who thrives on creativity and enjoys making a positive impact on others? We're searching for a dynamic Activities Lead to bring fun and fulfilment to our residents' lives. In this role, you'll partner with the Home Manager to design and implement a wide range of engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of our residents. What we offer: £13.00 per hour Full time contract Pension Onsite Parking Paid PVG Uniform Provided 5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract) Your Key Responsibilities: Activity Planning & Execution: Design and lead monthly and individual activity programs that cater to a variety of interests, helping residents maintain their hobbies and discover new ones. Promote Social Interaction: Facilitate social opportunities that encourage residents to connect and enjoy their time in the care home. Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all activities to ensure that every event is documented and meets the needs of our residents. What You'll Bring to the Role: Event Planning Expertise: A proven ability to develop and organize diverse activities and events. Creative Flair: A friendly, creative, and confident personality that can engage and inspire residents. Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine interest in improving the quality of life for the elderly. Strong Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the confidence to lead and work as part of a team. Independent & Proactive: Ability to work on your own initiative, bringing fresh ideas to life. Full UK Driving Licence: Required to provide transport for residents to attend events.
