We're recruiting for a night shift Packing Line Operative to join a well-established food production site just outside Colchester. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity offering full training, job stability, and the chance to develop new skills within a supportive team environment.

As a Packing Line Operative, you'll be an important part of the production process, ensuring food products are packed to a high standard and ready for dispatch. You'll work closely with your team to keep the line running smoothly and maintain excellent quality.

Key duties of the Packing Line Operative - Night Shift include:

• Preparing and loading ingredients onto the line

• Carrying out quality checks and grading products

• Packing finished goods and stacking pallets for dispatch

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area in line with food safety standards

• Assisting with general production tasks as required

• A reliable, hardworking team player

• Previous food manufacturing and production experience preferred (but not essential - training provided)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Flexibility to work occasional extra hours when needed

• Own transport (essential due to location)

• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

• Pay: 12.62 per hour

• Optional weekend overtime (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM) at enhanced rates

• Free on-site parking
