HGV TechnicianAre you an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician looking for a new challenge? We're on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our growing team and keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.About the RoleYou'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a range of heavy goods vehicles and trailers. Working in a well-equipped workshop with a supportive team, you'll carry out everything from routine servicing to major mechanical overhauls.Key Responsibilities" Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards" Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections" Complete service sheets and job cards accurately" Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards" Support junior technicians and contribute to a positive team environmentWhat We're Looking For" NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair" Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role" Good understanding of diagnostics and electrical systems" Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable)" Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused attitudeWhat We Offer" Competitive hourly rate + overtime opportunities" Monday-Friday hours (optional weekend shifts available)" Ongoing training and career development" Modern, well-equipped workshop" Supportive team and great working environmentLocation: OldburyHours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pmSalary: £40,000 - £52,000If you're passionate about keeping vehicles on the road and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
