About the role Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as a Construction Logistics Lead on the Hinkley Point C Project. Actively manage and motivate the Logistics Service Delivery Organisation stake holder. Identify and implement Best Practice throughout the project On Site logistics functions. Work closely with the Logistics Service Delivery Provider to Manage, Monitor and Control the planning and execution of logistics for the MEH Alliance partners on a day-to-day basis. Liaise with all client and MEH Alliance departments on construction logistics matters. Ensure logistics services for the project are delivered on time, within budget and right first time. Ensure that the Logistics Service Delivery Provider contracts Service Level Agreements are monitored, managed and delivered to ensure best for project safe and efficient logistics. Liaise with all MEH Alliance services and compounds to ensure efficient logistics services and supply chain networks are maintained and appropriately manned to guarantee materials to Site (MTS), all materials are tracked to handover points and final yards are fit for project. Provide all due diligence assurance to the client of value for money to HPC for the provision of logistics services by reviewing and approving all monthly applications for payment. Support the delivery of a seamless logistics process from offsite to onsite, across different logistics partners Who we're looking for Level 5 Leadership or CMI or trade equivalent (or Equivalent) Must come from a construction trade background to understand construction challenges and nuances. Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher) IOSH managing safely Change Management qualification (APMG) Risk management qualification Project management qualification (Prince 2 or Equivalent) A proven track record in managing logistics contractors.
