A minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in building maintenance, including a broad range of trades such as joinery, plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, decorating, external works and groundworks. Proven experience working within the social housing sector. Demonstrable experience identifying the root cause of damp, mould and condensation issues, applying appropriate treatment solutions and completing effective long-term repairs. Strong multi-trade skills with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship across a variety of repair types. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Good IT skills and experience using handheld devices to manage work and complete records. A full UK driving licence. The following qualifications or training would be advantageous: Level 3 qualification in Damp, Mould and Condensation in Buildings. Health and Safety qualification or relevant training.
