Your new company Our client is looking for an experienced Wills Writer and Estates Planning Paralegal to join their well-established department and currently has several positions available. This role is a home working position involving some travel to one of their offices nationally. However, they offer a flexible and agile (home) working environment along with hybrid and in-person options, so you can adjust your location to suit your personal circumstances. (For example, their Bristol office is based just outside of Bristol city centre, and they are located in a very commutable location from South Wales, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.) Our client also offers internal trainee solicitor programmes (with a lean toward estate planning), along with lots of opportunities for progression. Your new role In this role, you'll manage estate planning cases end to end, alongside drafting and taking instructions on a variety of wills and associated estate planning documents. You'll communicate with clients remotely, providing an outstanding service and case resolution. You'll gain exposure to a variety of cases, allowing you to build on your knowledge within a supportive team. You will: * document and write wills of various complexity, write powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation, making sure all paperwork is accurate and professionally written * communicate with clients and external partners via the phone and written communication throughout each case * manage an incoming case load and work with those parties involved towards the successful completion of a case You will be offered a fantastic opportunity to grow and succeed in a fast-growing area of the business. About you These roles are open to experienced private client paralegals with experience in drafting wills and advising clients regarding estate planning matters. You will be an experienced paralegal or will writer with previous experience of drafting wills and advising clients relating to estate planning matters. You should also have the ability to build positive relationships with clients and always be looking to give excellent customer care. The role You will take on an already existing case load of varied Private Client work which will consist of Wills, Probate, Administration of Estates, LPA s, Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts. There is plenty of opportunity to grow and develop the work and you will be encouraged and given the independence to build relationships with other departments and external referrers. You will also be given the option to be actively involved with supporting and mentoring junior members of the department.
