Junior Financial Data Analyst

Location: London, UK (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum

They are now looking for a Junior Financial Data Analyst to join their analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with numbers, data, and finance.

You will be part of a small, supportive team responsible for analysing financial data and providing insights that help shape business strategy. This role offers hands-on experience with real financial datasets, regular collaboration with senior analysts, and a clear path for professional growth.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, cleaning, and verifying financial data from multiple internal systems.
• Producing reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators.
• Identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in financial data.
• Supporting projects such as forecasting, variance analysis, and budgeting.
• Working with finance and operations teams to interpret results and present findings clearly.

You are naturally analytical, curious, and detail-oriented. You enjoy finding meaning in data and want to build a career in financial analytics.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Excel and a strong interest in data analysis.
• Curiosity to learn SQL, Power BI, Python, or R.
• An understanding of financial statements and key performance metrics.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Salary between £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
