Material Planning Analyst Location - PeterleeDuration - 12 Months (High Chance of Extension)Hourly Rate - £27.28 UmbrellaWorking Arrangements - Fully Onsite The OpportunityAs a Material Planning Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring parts are scheduled, expedited, and delivered to support production. You'll be stepping in to backfill a contractor who has progressed internally, becoming an integral part of a team of 11 planners under experienced supervisors and a supportive Material Planning Manager. What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the planning and flow of materials to meet production deadlines
• Collaborating with international suppliers to maintain availability and resolve issues
• Supporting the business post-SAP implementation
• Using Excel daily (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) to analyse, forecast and report
• Contributing to continuous improvement; Six Sigma knowledge is a bonus
• Potential UK-based travel to suppliers (up to 15%)

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in material planning
• Strong scheduling and expediting capability
• Excellent communication, organisational and numerical skills
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• SAP experience highly advantageous
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work to strict deadlines
