ABC Teachers are currently looking to appoint dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to join an amazing team in a unique outdoor learning setting in Worcestershire.Supporting students within Primary and Secondary age groups in an alternative provision environment.
This is a key role in supporting students, with emotional, social, or behavioural difficulties.
Part-time hours available between the hours of 9am-3pm Monday-Friday
About the Role:
- The provision offers a nurturing, outdoor-focused learning experience for students who have been excluded from school or who have special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, trauma, and other learning difficulties.
- A tailored alternative education programme for children is offered who are at risk of exclusion, alongside engaging activity sessions and events for visiting schools and home-educated students.
- Through a unique combination of practical, purposeful activities, guided by well-trained,compassionate staff working individually or in small groups, the provision creates meaningful opportunities for growth and learning.
- Their approach consistently makes a real difference; school leaders and families regularly share positive feedback about the progress and confidence they see in children after spending time at the provision.
- You will be joining a small, supportive team dedicated to making a genuine difference in children s lives every day.

About You:
- You are someone who believes that every child deserves a chance to thrive, no matter their background or challenges. You are patient, resilient, and have a genuine passion for helping young people reconnect with learning.
- Positive and proactive, with a calm approach to behaviour management.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and leading or supporting practical activities.
- A team player, willing to collaborate closely with colleagues to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, Autism, social emotional mental health needs and learning difficulties.
- Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or outdoor learning (or a willingness to train).
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check.
- Subject to satisfactory references.
