Avencia are partnered with a global Corporate & Specialty insurer who seeking candidates with Multinational/International Programmes experience to join their Captive Services team.
The role
This position is focused on the efficient and effective servicing of Captive Accounts across a Global Network. The role operates within agreed underwriting and operational authorities, ensuring high standards of data quality and compliance. You will liaise closely with international servicing offices to understand local regulatory requirements, market practices and operational constraints, supporting the successful implementation of multinational programmes.
You will support the Captive Manager and Captive Team Leader in delivering a first-class service proposition to Captive clients throughout the value chain.
Key accountabilities
- Support the implementation of Captive Multinational Programmes by liaising with servicing offices and regional hubs
- Validate instructions, ensure timely completion of required actions and resolve discrepancies with local parties
- Gather and share market intelligence on local regulations and practices impacting programme delivery
- Assess complex operational risks and escalate where necessary in line with policy
Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs - Track policies and premiums to support timely collection and issuance
- Assist with documentation for regulatory submissions where required
- Work with Credit Control to ensure accurate and swift premium movement and resolve queries
- Support Underwriters with premium allocation calculations and other tasks within agreed parameters
- Process premium bookings into PAS
- Assist with Clinical Trial certificate referrals and escalations
Continuous improvement and operational excellence:
- Identify and support implementation of process improvements
- Ensure policies are processed to agreed service standards for effective client servicing
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into systems including, but not limited to: Geras, Pool Re, Global Network Portals, One Flow, IP Web, Elto, ARGOS and E-Accounting
- Promptly raise and correct data errors, working with relevant internal teams
- Maintain accurate records for audit and regulatory purposes
Stakeholder engagement and collaboration:
- Build strong internal and external relationships to support communication and service delivery
- Participate in client meetings as required
- Act as an advocate for operational change and innovation
- Support and mentor junior team members to aid development and succession planning
- Undertake any additional tasks requested by senior leadership
Skills & experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in International Programmes / Multinational Insurance
- Captives experience desirable but not essential
- Experience from insurer or broking environments considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload to meet service standards
- Effective communicator with ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- Proficient in Excel, MS Word and accounting systems
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology across multiple lines of business
- Systems-aware with confidence in data capture and monitoring
- Proactive mindset with willingness to support change and continuous improvement
