STOCK CONTROLLER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE Are you an experienced Stock Controller, Warehouse Operative or Goods in Operative with a proven background in logistics, and do you hold either a Counterbalance or Reach forklift license?! We are helping a manufacturing business based in Telford to recruit a Stock Controller, the working hours for this role will either be a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern, or a fixed day shift 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday, the starting pay rate will depend on experience but the starting top end pay rate would be £13.00 per hour. Previous experience within the plastics manufacturing industry would be highly advantageous, as well as someone who holds a certificate or qualification within warehousing or logistics. The hiring manager would like someone who has got some ERP system experience, and someone that holds either a Counterbalance or Reach forklift license. Someone who has previously worked as a Stock Controller, Warehouse Operative, Goods in Operative, Logistics Controller, FLT Driver, FLT Counterbalance Driver, FLT Reach Driver or Inventory Controller would be well received. What You Will Do: Ensure the warehouse, shipping, and inventory processes align with established procedures and standards. Maintain all warehouse equipment in a clean and safe working condition while adhering to housekeeping rules. Accurately label and organise all products with item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities. Pick, prepare, and transfer finished goods and raw materials for both internal and external customers, ensuring adherence to FIFO principles. Manage hazardous raw materials storage while identifying opportunities for process improvements within the department. Provide support and assistance to all departments, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
