Assembly Technician Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing 
Location: Norfolk Commutable from Norwich, Wymondham, Attleborough, Thetford, and surrounding areas 
Type: Full-time, Permanent 
Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift 
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
 A well-established engineering manufacturer in Norfolk is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling mechanical and electrical sub-systems for high-precision products used in both production and research environments. 
You ll be working in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a skilled team, contributing to the build of technically advanced systems. 
Key Responsibilities:  - Assemble mechanical and electrical components to detailed specifications
  - Interpret and follow technical drawings and build documentation
  - Use a range of hand and power tools, including drills, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments
  - Conduct quality checks and ensure accurate assembly
  - Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently
  - Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  - Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and use PPE appropriately
  
 Candidate Profile:  - Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, fitting, or maintenance
  - Confident using a variety of tools and workshop equipment
  - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  - Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
  - Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  - Full UK driving licence preferred
