A well-established engineering manufacturer in Norfolk is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling mechanical and electrical sub-systems for high-precision products used in both production and research environments.

You ll be working in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a skilled team, contributing to the build of technically advanced systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components to detailed specifications
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and build documentation
• Use a range of hand and power tools, including drills, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments
• Conduct quality checks and ensure accurate assembly
• Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and use PPE appropriately

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, fitting, or maintenance
• Confident using a variety of tools and workshop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Full UK driving licence preferred
