Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Proficiency in Shell Scripting , SQL , and working with MongoDB . IT Infrastructure Specialist 3 - 6 months contract Based in Northern Ireland 1 Day on site 4 days remote Day Rate £500 Inside IR35 Our client is looking for an Infrastructure specialist who will be responsible for the overall infrastructure design, ensuring that it meets the client's business requirements. You must be an expert on large complex IT Systems & Storage, Microsoft Operating Systems, Virtualisation technologies, Disaster Recovery and Backup technologies and experience working with large customers to design hybrid architectures and transformation of large Complex Solutions. The Technical Specialist will need to be Northern Ireland based as there will be a requirement to meet with the client's infrastructure teams face-to-face on a weekly basis to discuss all aspects of infrastructure design and implementation and they shall: (a) Be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the client's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of Servers, storage, backup solutions and other infrastructure components. (b) Collaborate with the Service Manager - Infrastructure to meet contractual Performance Indicators; (c) Contribute to the development and assurance of design documentation and to the selection of appropriate applications and tools; (d) Assist in incident management, working with technical teams to resolve disruptions quickly and effectively; (e) Attend the Technical Design Authority forum and other relevant technical forums and meetings as required by our client. The initial engagement on this contract will be to work with the Service Management project team on verifying the estate to be onboarded to management from the client's current ICT supplier.
