This position offers a blend of office-based and hands-on yard work, with approximately 60% of your time spent in the office and 40% in the yard, providing variety and a great opportunity to develop a broad skill set.

We are looking for a customer-focused, proactive team player to join our site in Elland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site management with compliance, inventory, financial, health & safety, and transport objectives.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, driving toward an incident-free workplace.
  • Manage customer orders and data using SAP, handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.
  • Process orders, refunds, and cylinder refill agreements efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, including physical stock counts and system updates.
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Review daily aborts, cancellations, and fill returns.
  • Assist drivers with run reviews, loading sheets, manifests, and Telematics tracking.
  • Support yard operations - loading/unloading vehicles, reconciling loads, and maintaining a safe, organised space.
  • Conduct driver debriefs and ensure accurate updates to master data.
  • Provide professional and friendly service via phone and email.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and a positive working environment.

About You

We'd love you to have or be:

  • A valid FLT licence (training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Capable of handling physical tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Professional, customer-focused, and approachable.
  • Experienced in customer service or administration, with strong organisational skills.
  • A confident team player who supports colleagues and shares best practices.
  • Flexible and committed to meeting business needs.
  • Proactive in taking ownership of your work - especially when it comes to safety.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, SAP, and TruTac, with excellent attention to detail.
