We are looking for a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our specialist team at Stagenhoe Neurological Care Centre in Hertfordshire. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while providing supervision, coaching and support to junior colleagues. About the Role Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate and effective care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and delivering high-quality care and support to service users Delegating and overseeing care tasks while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment Supporting individuals to exercise choice, independence and control over their care Promoting dignity, respect and person-centred practice at all times Supervising, coaching and mentoring junior team members Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation Completing mandatory training and supporting continuous improvement Encouraging feedback and helping to enhance the service user experience About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (essential) At least 2 years' relevant care experience Experience working effectively within a care team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good IT and computer literacy skills Experience of leadership, supervision, coaching or mentoring Understanding of audit processes and quality standards A compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach to care What We Offer 15.58 per hour including Market Enhancement 20% enhancement for weekend and overtime shifts 30% enhancement for bank holiday shifts 33 days annual leave Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Company pension scheme Eye voucher scheme Long Service and Staff Awards Free parking Excellent training, development and career progression opportunities Important Information Please note that Stagenhoe is not accessible by public transport, so applicants will need to be able to travel to the service independently.
