Academics Ltd is currently seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join a welcoming primary school in Gloucester as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional learning needs.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the specific needs of the pupil

• Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities

• Implement targeted strategies to support the pupil's academic and personal development

• Build a strong and trusting relationship with the pupil

• Work closely with the class teacher and maintain clear, ongoing communication with parents and carers to monitor progress

• Experience working with children

• Previous experience in a SEN environment (preferred)

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Ability to provide two recent professional references
