Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Leighton Buzzard LU7

Pay Rate: 13 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Shift Pattern

• Initially: Monday-Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm
• Then rotational shifts:
  • Week 1: 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Week 2 for the following week: 11:00am - 7:30pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a long-term career with a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all outgoing deliveries for quality, accuracy, and correct quantities.
• Ensure stock is properly stowed, labelled, and recorded in the warehouse system.
• Accurately handle measurements, sizes, and transportation details.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse.
• Record and update information using a basic computer system (training provided).
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Lift weights up to 20kg safely as part of daily operations.
• Occasionally transport goods between warehouses (UK driving licence desirable).

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
