Performance Media Team Manager - (Hybrid, UK)

LHH is working with a client who is looking to hire a Performance Media Team Manager to oversee delivery excellence, mentor a talented team, and drive measurable impact for a range of clients. This is a leadership role with real influence, from workflow management and quality assurance to client engagement and innovation.


What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and coaching a team of media specialists to deliver high-quality campaigns across paid search, social, and programmatic.
  • Owning day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows, timely delivery, and effective issue resolution.
  • Acting as a senior media expert in client meetings, providing strategic recommendations and building trust.
  • Supporting campaign activation during peak periods and troubleshooting complex platform issues.
  • Collaborating with data and strategy teams to ensure tracking, reporting, and optimisation are fit for purpose.
  • Contributing to new business proposals and shaping media strategies with commercial insight.

  • Proven experience across paid media channels, with a strong grasp of campaign setup, optimisation, and performance analysis.
  • A confident leader who can manage, mentor, and inspire others.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client-facing communication and commercial awareness.
  • A collaborative mindset and curiosity about new tools, automation, and smarter ways of working.


Bonus points for:

  • Experience working with outsource partners or near-shore teams.
  • Familiarity with GA4, tagging QA, and data visualisation tools.
  • Relevant certifications (Google Ads, Meta Media Buying, DV360).
