Assembly Operative Poole Competitive Salary Our client that design, build and service highly engineered products within fluid and motion control applications are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join their growing and experienced team! Assembly Operative Role and Responsibilities: Single Piece assembly to defined procedures and story boards. This could be part of flow line practices or sub-assemblies for other products Coil winding, typically for flow line type products but could include other products Potting, typically for flow line products Finishing of products ready for inspection and packaging to include labelling and cleaning Kit picking of spares & valves Cleaning of components and assemblies Basic testing, resistance checking of coils, pre-test of sub-assemblies to defined procedures and story boards Packing of vales and components in accordance with procedures incorporating any documentation required Assembly of crates for packing Ensure working area stock levels are replenished in accordance with Kanban systems Undertaking soldering when required Recording accurate data using spreadsheets and official documents when required The ideal Assembly Operative will: Be able to understand and follow work instructions for example procedures, story boards, schematics Good level of manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination PC literate High level of attention to detail Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 Friday 08:00 - 13:00 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
