We are seeking a Senior Overhead Line (OHL) Engineer to deliver high-quality overhead line designs for 11kV-132kV new build, refurbishment, and diversion projects within the regulated UK electricity network. The role sits within Engineering Design and supports capital programmes and connections works in line with client. You will be responsible for end-to-end OHL design , including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and cost inputs, using PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower and PLS-Pole in accordance with BS-EN 50341 . The role includes producing and checking detailed designs, foundation and structural reports, and ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations while acting as Principal Designer on allocated schemes. You will work closely with Project Managers, civil and electrical designers, and external stakeholders, providing technical leadership and ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality, and safety targets. Requirements: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 7+ years' experience in OHL design (UK DNO environment) Strong PLS-CADD/PLS-Tower expertise Knowledge of ENA, and British/European standards Chartered or working towards chartership Strong safety and CDM awareness
