Currently looking for a Network & Telecoms Engineer for one of our clients. Provides specialist technical lead for the design, maintenance, and security of data networks and telephony systems. Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure projects and provides 3rd-line escalation support. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of LAN/WLAN, Firewall security, and Telephony systems. 3rd-Line Support: Resolve complex network and telephony faults, managing escalations with external suppliers (Mitel/Extreme/Checkpoint). Project Management: Partner with the PMO to deliver infrastructure workstreams, ensuring standards and documentation are maintained. Monitoring & Optimization: Use SolarWinds (NPM/NTA) to model network load, analyze performance, and create improvement reports.
